This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using Clubr, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information you provide

• Account Information — Name, email address, username, password, and role selection.
• Profile Information — Profile photo, bio, social media links, and music genres.
• Event Information — Event titles, descriptions, venue details, dates, cover images, and genres.
• Guest List Data — VIP list entries, plus-ones, notes, and check-in status.
• User Content — Comments, gallery photos, and messages submitted through the Service.

Information collected automatically

• Device Information — Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Push Notification Tokens — Expo push tokens used to deliver notifications.
• Usage Data — Features you interact with and actions taken within the app.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Process VIP list requests and event RSVPs
• Generate and validate QR codes for event check-in
• Send push notifications such as VIP approvals, event reminders, and new events from DJs you follow
• Enable real-time features via WebSocket connections
• Provide guest list analytics to event organizers
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:

• With Event Organizers — When you join a VIP list, the organizer can see your name, username, profile photo, and check-in status.
• Public Profile Data — Your name, username, avatar, bio, and gallery photos are visible to other users.
• Service Providers — Third-party services that help us operate, such as cloud hosting, image storage, and push notification delivery.
• Legal Requirements — When required by law, legal process, or governmental request.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, JWT-based authentication, HTTPS encryption for all API communications, and secure on-device token storage.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

• Access and Update — You can access and update your profile information at any time through the app.
• Push Notifications — Opt out through your device settings.
• Account Deletion — Request deletion by contacting support@clubr.app. We will delete your data within 30 days.
• Data Portability — Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

The Service integrates with:

• Supabase — image storage and hosting
• Expo — push notification delivery and over-the-air updates
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.

Clubr is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new policy on this page and updating the date above.
